To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- Be classified as ‘Home’ for tuition fees in the UK
- Identify as Black British, including:

- Mixed – White and Black Caribbean
- Mixed – White and Black African
- Other mixed backgrounds including Black African, Caribbean, or Other
- Have accepted an offer to study a full-time Master’s program at the University of Sussex Business School or the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences starting in September 2025
Who Is Not Eligible?
You are not eligible if you:
- Plan to study at a university other than the University of Sussex
- Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Master’s program
- Intend to enroll in:
