AstraZeneca Young Health Programme Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

General Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be 18 to 30 years old

  • Have strong English proficiency

  • Be nationals of any country

  • Be able to attend the One Young World Summit in Cape Town in person

  • Have access to a device and stable internet for fellowship activities

Applicants must also be willing to:

  • Collaborate with other global changemakers

Non-Profit Organisation Requirements

Applicants must be founders or leaders of registered non-profit organizations that meet the following conditions:

  • The organization must be registered and operational for at least 3 years

  • It must operate in underserved communities

  • It must be able to provide official documentation verifying its charitable status

Financial Requirements

To qualify for the $10,000 grant, organisations must have:

  • Annual income of $10,000 – $1,000,000

To qualify for the $50,000 grant, organisations must have:

  • Annual income of $100,000 – $2,000,000

Organisations must also be funding-ready, meaning they can provide the documentation required by the Charities Aid Foundation for verification.

Project Requirements

Applicants must propose a 6–12 month project that:
