ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2025 Overview

The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS6) is a fully funded program to develop ethical, digital, and sustainable leadership among youth. From July to October 2025, the summit includes virtual sessions and an in-person gathering in Osaka, Japan.

Participants will explore the concept of Society 5.0, a human-centered society that balances economic advancement with the resolution of social problems through the integration of cyberspace and physical space.

Program Summary

Program Phases

Knowledge Building Phase (July 29 – August 26, 2025)

Conducted online, this phase involves live sessions twice a week, featuring expert-led modules on leadership and Society 5.0. Participants will engage in interactive learning and peer-to-peer discussions.

Leadership in Action Phase (August 27 – September 28, 2025)

Also held virtually, participants will collaborate in diverse teams to address real-world challenges, applying their knowledge to develop innovative solutions.

Youth Summit in Osaka (September 29 – October 5, 2025)

The program culminates in a week-long in-person summit in Osaka, where participants will engage in workshops, cultural exchanges, and present their collaborative projects.

• Motivation: Demonstrated interest in leadership, community engagement, and the principles of Society 5.0.
