This scholarship provides £2,000 annually (or pro rata for part-time students) for up to four years, helping students manage study-related expenses. It is renewable each year, provided recipients maintain satisfactory academic progress.

In addition to financial support, recipients are invited to join the Kent Ambition Scholars Programme, which offers structured guidance, career development opportunities, and access to roles such as student ambassador positions.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

To qualify for the Kent UKAT Ambition Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

• Be a current or former student of a UKAT school (Brompton Academy or Chatham Grammar)
• Be a UK home fee-paying student

• Have applied for a full-time or part-time undergraduate programme at the University of Kent
• Have firmly accepted an offer from the university before 31 August 2026
• Be required to pay full tuition fees

Note: Students applying to Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) are not eligible for this scholarship.

• Living in areas of socio-economic deprivation (IMD Q1 or Q2)

• Living in supported accommodation
• Previously received free school meals

Final decisions may also involve consultation with the applicant’s former school.
