Who is Eligible?

Applicants must:

• Be self-financing (not sponsored by another organization).

Additional Eligibility Notes:

• Students in the Business School or School of Engineering & Informatics can combine this award with relevant international Masters awards.

Who is Not Eligible?

You are not eligible if:

• A sponsor covers your full tuition fees.
• You are progressing from the University of Sussex International Study Centre (ISC).
• You are enrolling in the following courses:
  • Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
  • Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
  • Courses at IDS
  • Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
  • Degrees in Social Work (with NHS bursary)
  • Online courses
  • School Direct teaching courses
  • Masters funded by UK research councils (e.g., ESRC 1+3)
• You already hold another Sussex-funded scholarship (e.g., Chancellor’s International Scholarship).
