These renewable scholarships are intended for students from Africa, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, and South Korea, providing significant financial aid.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be an international students with a valid study permit.
• Be citizens of eligible countries (e.g., India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, African countries).
• Be newly admitted full-time students in one of the following programs: Engineering: Civil or Chemical Engineering. Social Sciences: Sociology, Anthropology, Public Administration, Conflict Studies, International Development & Globalization. Science: Most programs (excluding specific dual-degree and Honors tracks).

Minimum academic requirements:

• Entrance Scholarship: Admission average of 89.99% or lower.
• Excellence Scholarship: Admission average of 90% or higher.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarships are renewable for up to four years (12 terms) and offer:

• Excellence Scholarship: CAD $17,500–$25,000 per year.
• Entrance Scholarship: CAD $12,000–$20,000 per year.
• Total value of up to $100,000 over four years to cover partial tuition costs.

Application Process

• Submit an application for undergraduate studies through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC).
• After submission, receive a Student Number to access the UOZone portal.
• Upload required results and documents for review.
• Eligible students are automatically considered for scholarships upon admission (no separate application required).
• Recipients must provide proof of citizenship from Africa or other eligible countries to receive their first instalment.
