Benefits of the Goodeve UWA Connect Scholarship

Recipients of the scholarship will receive:

• $5,000 per year for three years of undergraduate study
• An additional $5,000 for a fourth year if undertaking Honours

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Goodeve UWA Connect Scholarship, candidates must:

• Be a commencing domestic student
• Have applied for a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Geology, Marine & Coastal Sciences, Earth Sciences)
• Be experiencing or have experienced challenging life circumstances

Examples of challenging circumstances include:

• Coming from a low socio-economic background
• Living in a regional or remote area
• Identifying as an Australian Indigenous person
• Living with a medical condition or disability that affects study
• Being the first in your family to attend university
• Facing other forms of financial or social disadvantage

How to Apply

No separate scholarship application is needed.

All applicants who apply for an eligible undergraduate program at UWA and meet the criteria will automatically be considered for the Goodeve UWA Connect Scholarship.
