Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the Taz Panter Foundation collaborated to create the Rest & Resilience Fellowship. Since 2015, Berlin has annually welcomed two journalists from nations with limited freedom of the press and information.

Well, unfortunately, applications from journalists who are unable to return to their home country because of the political climate or their personal safety situation will not be taken into consideration. This is primarily because the German government will not provide a visa if there is no chance of return.
