Violent conflict poses a significant obstacle to peace and progress in the Niger Delta. PIND believes that having a deep understanding of peacebuilding and an integrated early warning reporting system can ensure a proactive response to emerging conflict issues through the dissemination of peace messages, early warning/analysis, and mediation and consensus building among local stakeholders and partners.

This program aims to expand PIND’s network of peace builders by enhancing their expertise in peacebuilding practices and processes to contribute to PIND’s Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) system.
