Good Neighbor Next Door – Federal Grants for First-time Homebuyers

The Good Neighbor Next Door Sales Program takes responsibility for 50% of a home’s list price and only public servants such as law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and teachers are eligible to forward their application for this grant. Before you can be considered for this grant, there are certain requirements which are listed below:

  1. You have to live in the home for a minimum of three years.
  2. You have to sign a second mortgage for the discount amount given. Kindly note that you won’t be making any payments except you do not meet up the three-year occupancy requirement.

HomePath Ready Buyer
