Canon Oceania Grants 2024 (Up to AUD $5,000 In Prizes)

Over the past 18 years, Canon Oceania has exemplified the principles of Kyosei, promoting cooperation and collaboration for the greater good. During this time, they have provided financial and product assistance exceeding $550,000 to more than 110 schools, non-profit organizations, and community groups.

This year, the Canon Oceania Grants Program continues its mission to empower and amplify the impact of deserving individuals and organizations. Notably, a new category has been introduced, specifically aimed at fostering positive outcomes for Australia’s First Nations peoples.

  • Community Grant
  • Education Grant
  • Environment Grant
  • First Nation Grant


  • Community Grant worth $5,000: The recipient will receive $2,500 in cash and a Canon product with a value of up to $2,500.
  • Education Grant worth $5,000: The recipient will be awarded $2,500 in cash along with a Canon product valued up to $2,500.
  • Environmental Grant worth $5,000: The winner will receive $2,500 in cash and a Canon product worth up to $2,500.
  • First Nations Grant worth $5,000: The winner will be granted $2,500 in cash in addition to a Canon product valued at up to $2,500.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Community Grant: Available to any project or organization aiming to make a favorable difference in communities, cultural aspects, and societal matters.
  • Education Grant: Accessible to any project conducted by a primary, secondary, or tertiary educational institution.
  • Environment Grant: Open to any project that promotes and safeguards environmental sustainability within the community.
  • First Nation Grant: Introducing for 2024, the First Nations Grant is open to any project. Or an organization dedicated to creating a positive impact for Aborigines. And Torres Strait Islander Peoples and/or the community.

How To Apply for Canon Oceania Grants 2024

  • The application period begins on June 12, 2024, and ends at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
  • Following the same procedure as last year, our panel of judges will choose the top three submissions in each category. These finalists will proceed to a public vote, allowing their broader Canon community to participate in the selection process.
